It seems the few surprises that we got in the start of the season, were just that, surprises.This weeks most impressing win was took by Arsenal, after 2 weaker games, team resumed to their level and took 4-0 over Wigan. Vermaelen scored 2 goals and collected amazing 19 points. Also Aston Villa performed as planned and took 2-0 win over Portsmouth, who still stands at 0 points. Gabriel Agbonlahor continued his goal streak, and has scored in 3 previous matches.
The two most awaitened matches both went to the home teams as ManU took a great victory over their arch rival City. The winning goal was scored by Michael Owen over 5 times into stoppage time. Ryan Giggs took home 3 assists and 14 points. Chelsea took convincing 3-0 win over Tottenham, who still seem to be unable to compete with the "big boys". Didier Drogba scored one and assisted one to collect 12 points.
The player of the gameweek in fantasy premier league this week was Thomas Vermaelen, 2 goals and clean sheet, what more can you ask for from a defender.
